Located in the north of The Netherlands is the Beyond Limits Pigeon loft. Four breeding pairs in separate breeding boxes is the new base realised winter 2023-2024.

Our schedule is simple. Birds aged 2 or older race the region calendar race varying from 100 to 400 km april and may. These racers – and also the yearlings- will do 3 races to 650km. The first challenge is in the first week of june which is a 900km race with afternoon liberation. After this race the 2 year old racers stay home until the Barcelona race (1316km). All racers – 2 years and older- will participate in the Barcelona race.

Yearlings will do 2 or 3 more 650km races organised by regional federation and additional race with the same distance.

Youngsters will do all races organised by the regional federation starting july until first week september (100 – 400km). All birds medical schedule is only the yearly mandatory PMV vaccination. Biological products are used to keep all birds 100% healthy 365 days a year by the patented products of Almar. The natural way since 2024. Results 2024 with the young birds increased very well.

Auke Smid (Barcelona 1 and Barcelona 3 bloodline)

His  favorite Barcelona race at 1354km. Auke was the extreme distance champion in the North of Holland. The most memorable result was a 5th national Barcelona 2008. In the BLP loft are offspring of the Barcelona 1 and Barcelona 3 line.
